Spicy Peanut Quick Salad Dressing
Try this Simple Cooking with Heart, Asian nutty twist on salad dressing for your next salad.
Remember, A serving of salad dressing is no more than 2 tablespoons!
- 2 Tbsp. reduced-fat peanut butter (try to find "no sugar added")
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 clove fresh garlic (minced) OR
- 1 tsp. jarred, minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. cumin OR
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper OR
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
Cooking Tip: Fat-free, low sodium chicken or vegetable broth can replace some oil in any dressing recipe, so can water.
Tip: This simple dressings is a great base-dressings. Build on it and add different flavors are you discover them such as minced garlic, or freshly grated ginger root.
