  • 1 large Granny Smith apple (cut into 1/2-inch wedges)
  • 1 large Gala, Jonathan, or Red Delicious apple, cut into 1/2-inch wedges
  • 2 Tbsp. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. light tub margarine

  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Immediately reduce the heat to medium. Put all the ingredients in the skillet and stir together.
  2. Cook for 10 minutes, or until just tender, stirring gently and frequently.
